We have looked at a couple of funnies over the last week and are incorporating some tweaks to accommodate those.
One, in particular, stands out. Showman is quite strict in its place numbering rules. If you have divisions with upper and lower case characters, these can sort differently. So results for Class/Division 1A can get mixed up if there is a class 1a in the mix, and vice versa.
So a modification will be rolled into the next update (which is available now upon request) that unconditionally forces divisions to lower-case letters only.
That is, you may only use a through to z for division identification, e.g. 1a, 2c, 3b. If you enter upper case letters, these will be forced to lower case letters. If you add numbers of punctuation, these will be stripped out.
At this stage, we are not forcing divisions to one character, though we may do so in the future, if required.
