SumWare Consulting has 2 library packages and a utility program available for school and small business libraries - Athenaeum Lightand Athenaeum Pro.

Each have different capabilities and are aimed at different target markets. All allow you to manage school catalogues, borrowers and circulation. The MARC utility can decode MARC files into a format readily input to Athenaeum (this is integrated in Pro 7.6).

2 Versions

Athenaeum Pro strong configuration options, security, reporting and includes customisable MARC import. The most flexible version we have. The current version is 7.6v14. Athenaeum Pro 8 is coming!

Athenaeum Light 7 sacrifices some of these features, is easy to use and is very low cost.

Athenaeum Light 6 Is still available as a free download with limited support. Is not supported on some operating systems.

The Marc Reader will process MARC files and prepare them for import to the Athenaeum Light catalogue.

Athenaeum, in one version or another, is currently running in libraries all around the world. In fact, on every continent except Antarctica!
