Athenaeum Pro Fast Find Broken #2

You have just catalogued a new item and then used Fast Find to search for it. Fast Find can't find it. If you check the catalogue list, you can see it. What's going on?

You are probably not mad, the item is there, but there is a subtlety of which you may not be aware.

Athenaeum Pro Fast Find searches for all catalogue items except resources.

A resource, in Athenaeum Pro terms, is an item whose 'Borrower Privilege' is set to 'Resource'.

If you set the borrower privilege for the item to resource, then you must explicitly instruct Athenaeum to include resources in the Fast Find. (This is because many schools include thousands of resources, such as text books, in their catalogue and it is undesirable for normal student searches to return these items.)

Do this by checking the 'resources' check box on the fast find screen.
